SocialECOnomy – Circularity for the Social Economy is a project that aims to introduce circular economy practices within Social Economy Entities (SEEs) in Austria, Poland, Germany, and Italy. Its goal is to enhance green skills, promote environmental sustainability, and increase the competitiveness of SEEs through practical learning methods and active participation.
Thanks to transnational collaboration, the project seeks to create good practices, strengthen European solidarity, and tackle environmental challenges in line with the European Green Deal.
The main activities include accessible education on circular economy principles, the practical development of circular solutions by participants, and the dissemination of project results.
In addition to internal training and project management, the focus is on in-person training in Vienna for SEEs, follow-up online coaching, and the organization of events to present the results.
Toolkit – “How to Plan and Implement a Circular Business Model in a Social Enterprise”
It gathers the work of the four SEEs, a shared methodology, and replicable models.
It is designed as an Open Educational Resource (OER): freely usable by SEEs, trainers, local authorities, and policy makers.
