Hundreds of initiatives in Italy, thousands all over the world, to celebrate the International Day for the\u00a0Elimination of Racial Discrimination.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, March 23rd in Palermo, UNAR, National Office Against Racial Discrimination of the<\/p>\n

Department for Equal Opportunity, in collaboration with Amnesty International and the voluntary\u00a0association Per Esempio Onlus, were present all day long in Piazza Bellini with a gazebo which was the\u00a0meeting and information point for the Italian population and for the foreign communities of the city.\u00a0Passers-by were invited to leave a comment about the issue of racial discrimination, and received\u00a0gadgets and brochures about the anti-discrimination activities carried out by UNAR and its localpartners.<\/p>\n
